On arrival in Kathmandu received by our guide with short drive to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city, where you will join with other members of Wild Honey Hunting Around Nepal Himalaya Trekking, our guide will brief with information regarding trekking - hotels-culture with do’s and don’ts, includes welcome dinner in a nice and typical Nepali restaurant with culture programs.

n Kathmandu free day for individual activities and shopping souvenirs or join in our interesting tour of Kathmandu-Patan and Bhaktapur, full of world heritage site of historical-culture and religious importance, afternoon preparation for Wild Honey Hunting trekking.

Morning departure from Kathmandu for the drive to Pokhara, on Nepal's interesting and main highway following Trisuli River for few hours and then heading due west past nice farm villages and towns till the drive reach at Pokhara by the serene Phewa Lake side with magnificent views of Annapurna Himalaya and Machhapuchare 'Fish Tail' peak.

From Pokhara drive leads north on the suburb of beautiful Pokhara valley through farm fields and village journey continues on rough road and then drive climbs up at largest Gurung village of Annapurna region at Siklis.

Where men folk of Siklis have long traditions of supplying some of the finest soldiers in Gorkha Regiment to both British and Indian army, the huge 'whaleback' peak of Lamjung Himal at 6,986m dominates the skyline above the village, a mere 10 kilometers away. Siklis a fascinating village perched in a beautiful location; here you will have opportunity to chat with ex-Gorkha soldiers who are only pleased to discuss their association with the British and Indian armies, campsite above the village provides stunning views, particularly at sunset and sunrise.

After a pleasant stop at Siklis heading towards North east direction in complete wilderness of rain forested area as the walk leads past farm fields of nice tended terraces with few ups and down trails crossing few icy streams and into dense forest then reaching a wide open area with some cattle herders shelters and huts and at Hoga Goth (a cattle herders small temporary settlements as well a wild honey hunters) At Hoga Goth afternoon our guide and local expert leader will provide you with information on wild honey hunting of the area.

At Hoga Goth preparation for wild honey where local guide will take you to best possible areas for honey hunting, an amazing place where glaciers of ice and snow meets the thick rain forest, after acquiring much preparations and checking the equipments required for the hunt.

These two days hike to Honey hives area hanging on high rocky cliff edge where our local guide will show you primitive technique using local materials bamboo ladders, ropes made from vines and then join the local early traditions of wild honey hunting. Its origin started around Himalayan mid hills villages since past thousands of years, the traditional sport of wild honey hunting among villagers still exists, where you can take part in it or just observe the daring cultural adventure of old traditions.

After a fabulous time in the mid hills Eastern Annapurna and Lamjung Himal area morning taking an exciting on rough road past farm villages and fields to reach at famous and popular touristic place at Pokhara, blessed with nature of high Annapurna Himalayan and serene lakes Phewa and Begnas, at Pokhara transfer into a nice hotels by the lake Phewa.

On catching morning views of massive Annapurna and majestic Mt. Machhapuchare ‘Fish Tail’ transfer to airport for short scenic flight back to Kathmandu, or take an overland drive of six hours.
